Analog-digital module for electrical impedance tomography
Zimniok, David ; Hejtmánek, Tomáš (oponent) ; Mikulka, Jan (vedoucí práce)
The presented bachelor thesis examines electrical impedance tomography and related issues. The primary challenge is measuring voltage over a wide range from millivolts to tens of volts. The second problem is measuring the imaginary part of impedance with a microprocessor without human help. Furthermore, the difficulty with circuit design of electrodes and transmitting such a small voltage over long distances between the measurement phantom and the microprocessor. For this purpose, it was necessary to choose an ARM microprocessor in combination with an programmable gain amplifier and a linear optocoupler for protecting the microprocessor. An active probe has been designed to ensure the measured voltage transition over long distances without data loss; the data is transmitted via a current loop.
